Cabra Community Garden is located at the north end of Ventry Park in Cabra. The project has been created by locals for locals, all ages are welcome and no gardening experience is required as it is an oppurtunity to learn through experience. A Green Communities grant received in 2010 allowed this group to establish their garden with tools, gardening and educational materials. In its first year the group have cultivated a nice mix of vegetables, herbs and flowers and hope to experiment with new varieties in the coming years.
