Brighton Square Association have created an organic community garden for the local residents to enjoy. The garden consists of four raised beds for growing organic vegtables and one for children where they can learn that "peas do not come from the supermarket". Many of the events planned for 2011 focus on engaging local children and helping them learn gardening skills through experience. The garden has become a focal point for community events and each year harvest parties and planting days are hosted here.
